Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent teamwork skills and have a solid understanding of grounds maintenance practices, including mowing, hedge trimming, fertilizing, and minor sprinkler system repairs. This role involves both supervisory responsibilities and hands-on groundskeeping tasks.

- Supervise a team of 10 to 12 landscapers in daily grounds maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and assign tasks such as mowing, hedge trimming, tree trimming, and trash cleanup.
- Perform manual labor alongside the team, including mowing, deadheading geraniums, and miscellaneous sprinkler repairs.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of work performed by the landscaping team.
- Assist in training new team members on proper groundskeeping techniques and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the Landscaping Manager to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance and landscaping, with a demonstrated ability to operate groundskeeping equipment.
- Moderate to decent knowledge of grounds maintenance practices, including mowing, hedge trimming, fertilizing, and minor sprinkler system repairs.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality groundskeeping services.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus.

- Full-Time Employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment
- Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
- Variable-hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30 hours per week throughout their first year.
- Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
- 50% match up to a 4% contribution from the team member.
- 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
- 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
- 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
- 5 years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)
- Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
