20520 – Head of Quality – ISO 13485 manufacturing site

The head of Quality for site manufacturing operations will be based in the Greater Atlanta area and will lead all quality related functions for a 24/7 state of the art medical device manufacturing facility. This position will drive quality management strategies and activities resulting in the highest level of product quality and compliance. The head of site quality will provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, audits, procedures and departmental budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field required; Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a quality related role, most of which should be in medical device manufacturing or similarly regulated industry experience with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in an ISO 13485 manufacturing environment with a working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and establish working relationships both internally and externally.
• Ability to teach, train and develop staff; ability to create a culture of continuous learning across areas of responsibilities.
• Experience with medical molding, injection molding or similar a plus
