Psycho-Educational Evaluator/ School Psychologist Responsibilities:
As a School Psychologist, I perform the following tasks:
Assessments and Reports:
  • Conduct personalized psycho-educational evaluations, including psychometric assessments and classroom observations.
  • Evaluate social, economic, emotional, and behavioral factors.
  • Prepare timely written reports with specific recommendations.
Student Functional Capabilities:
  • Assess students’ functional capabilities and their home or classroom environment.
  • Determine functional levels and develop placement recommendations.
Collaboration:
  • Consult with parents to evaluate relevant family factors.
  • Present findings to Individual Educational Program (IEP) teams.
  • Ensure successful special education placements.
Remediation and Progress:
  • Assist in developing educational objectives for areas needing remediation.
  • Re-evaluate special education students to track progress and recommend program changes.
General Education Support:
  • consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding special learning needs.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Deliver classroom presentations on positive interpersonal relationships and self-esteem.
Educational Meetings:
  • Offer consultative assistance at various educational meetings, such as Student Success Team meetings, Individual Evaluation Meetings.
