What Will Your Role Be?

As a Tier III Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• On-site and Project Support: Work primarily in an on-site and project support role, servicing business and residential clients in your area. Drive a company-provided vehicle to resolve issues with clients’ computers, networks, printers, internet connections, and other IT needs. Assist with the installation of network/computer deployments or any other projects.
• Remote Support: When the on-site calendar isn’t booked, work in a remote support role. This includes answering incoming phone calls, dispatching work, updating tickets, and documenting support activity in the ticketing system.
• Project Implementation: Focus on configuring and deploying business IT solutions, including workstation servers, workstations, networks, VOIP, Cloud environments, M365, wireless, and other common technologies. This also includes onboarding new clients.
• Client Communication: Communicate efficiently and courteously with clients. Maintain and continually update client information in the ticketing system.
• Service Documentation: Document all onsite and remote support activities in the ticketing system and update client information on file.
• Sales Support: Recommend additional services and solutions to clients and hand off potential sales opportunities to the sales team.

What Do You Need?

• Driver’s License: A clean and valid Driver’s License is required because the role involves driving a company vehicle.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an IT support role, MSP experience is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Knowledge and experience configuring firewalls, switches, printers, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration is preferred but not required.
  • End user desktop support experience, including desktop hardware repair, drive replacement, disk imaging practices, operating system installation, malware remediation, and email system troubleshooting.
• Certifications:
  • A Plus Certification: Required.
  • Net Plus Certification: Recommended or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
• Work Ethic: Self-driven and able to work both independently and in a team environment. Must be able to act confidently in front of clients even when faced with difficult challenges. Strong time management skills are essential to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
