Job Title: Construction Site Superintendent
Full Job Description
Who we are:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site staff, and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and maintain quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage project schedules, update timelines, and adjust plans as needed to meet project goals.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, project milestones, and any changes to plans.
- Resolve any on-site conflicts or issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate regular site meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and plan next steps.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are a plus.
