Full Job Description
Illuminati Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Projects to lead and oversee all aspects of project management for DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and ERRCS (Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems) installations. The Director of Projects will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves defining project objectives, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with industry standards throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Project Management:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and management of DAS and ERRCS projects from inception to completion.
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans in coordination with the design department and create associated communication documents.
    • Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
    • Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
    • Track and report on project milestones, progress, and deliverables to ensure alignment with objectives and budgets.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Direct and manage project development processes and coordinate resources for flawless project execution.
    • Lead internal teams and collaborate with third-party vendors to achieve project goals.
    • Oversee the preparation and delivery of progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
    • Manage project budgets, including install days, and allocate resources effectively.
    • Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and challenges within the team to maintain productivity and morale.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and manage project expectations with all team members and stakeholders.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate personnel to ensure project success.
    • Develop and implement best practices and tools for effective project execution and management.
    • Monitor project quality control and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build, develop, and nurture business relationships essential to project success.
    • Conduct project post-mortems to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Create and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders and clients.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health, safety, and industry standards.
    • Stay updated with changes in regulations and standards, implementing necessary adjustments in project management processes.
    • Monitor project management and technician submissions in software tools to ensure compliance and accuracy.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in telecommunications, focusing on DAS and ERRCS installations.
  • Strong understanding of DAS and ERRCS technologies, installation processes, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and familiarity with monitoring PM and technician submissions.

  • Flights and hotel accommodations are paid for by the company; per diem meal expenses are paid at the highest rate according to federal guidelines and can potentially equate to an additional $17,000 per year after taxes.

Work Location:
  • We are based in Denver but travel nationwide, Monday through Friday, home each weekend. We are currently building teams across the country.
