Engineered Electrical Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Foreman to join our team. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance, support, and direction to achieve the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and apprentices on job sites, ensuring all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, conduits, lighting, and other electrical components.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to plan and execute electrical installations.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes, as well as company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Manage project resources, including materials, tools, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project status, work completed, and any incidents or delays.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Preferred Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces, and to lift heavy objects as required.
