The Cook & Boardman Recruiting Team is Hiring a Recruiting Lead Near Salem, NC

The Recruiting Lead is responsible for delivering multiple facets of recruiting success throughout The Cook & Boardman Group, LLC in multiple locations in the United States. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiting Lead will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Essential Functions • Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies by studying organization plans and objectives• Develop leads using all effective resources: leads, referrals, cold calls, approved internet recruiting resources, and other media• Efficiently and effectively fill open positions; meeting with and proactively working with managers to discuss needs• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees• Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks• Responsible for creating and updating job descriptions, attract applicants by placing job advertisements, screen resumes and candidates, conduct interviews and assist managers with the complete hiring process• Work with Temporary/Staffing agencies as well as contract recruiters and conducts contract reviews• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need• Manage and assist in retention for the company through employee engagement and communication• Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition; coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives• Manage Applicant Tracking system to ensure compliance• Lead and coach the other recruiters• Assists with the coordination between recruiting, onboarding and training• Assists with other projects within HR Department as neededMinimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – Business, Communication, Sales, Marketing or other relevant field• Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience in Recruiting • Experience in relevant social media platforms (ex: LinkedIn, Indeed) required • Excellent verbal communication skills• Attention to detail of vital importance • Proven candidate sourcing skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Excellent computer skills; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs• Effective oral and written communication skills• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices• Self-directed and motivated; requiring minimal supervision• Ability to travel 10-15% on an as needed basisPhysical DemandsThis is largely a sedentary role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; and reach or lift using hands and arms. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require driving to project sites.
