The Council of Industry is Hiring a Caviar Specialist- Production Packer Near Wallkill, NY

Overview:

Production/Packer- Caviar Specialist

We are looking for a Caviar Specialist to join our team! Position will consist of packing, weighing and labeling caviar based on customer orders and to maintain inventory. Grade caviar and manage OTs reserved for customers. Pack and ship customer orders and record weights, tracebility information, etc in MRP system. Looking for someone with an interest or knowledge in Caviar and fine foods. Candidate needs to be detail oriented and able to use a software to receive orders and input product information. Must be able to work in refrigeration and stand for 8 hours a day.

Starting $19/hr, Depending on Experience

Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm, occasional weekends needed

Full time position and willing to work overtime during busy season. Full Time benefits include sick time, vacation time and employer contributed health insurance.

Responsibilities:

-Fullfill caviar orders in queue

-Follow items and customer specific label requirements

-Print labels with accurate product and production data

-Record product data in MRP system

-Pack and ship customer orders

-Work with other production/packing departments to esure all caviar orders are fullfilled

-Communicate with customer service to resolve issues or accommodate customer requests

-Grade caviar and maintain inventory

Qualifications:
Culinary degree, Culinary experience or Food Manufacturing experience required.
