Job Description: The Activities Department provides many outings and activities for residents and staff. The successful candidate will have an excellent driving record, enjoy working with seniors, prioritize resident safety and comfort, be reliable, and have a positive, upbeat attitude.

• Looking for Team-player willing to pitch in and assist as needed in other areas of the facility in emergent situations
• Good communication skills
• Must pass the physical required by this facility
• Experience working with seniors is a plus!

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Safely transport residents to and from activities
• Observe resident's rights
• Assist in evacuation of residents in an emergency
• Report to work as scheduled and demonstrate dependability and punctuality
• Work cooperatively/assist with other departments
• Represent the facility to family and community events
• Attend in-services, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times, hostile people within the community
