Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for food preparation and enjoy working in a collaborative team setting, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Handle and store food items appropriately to maintain freshness and quality
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with culinary team members to meet customer needs and preferences
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fine dining or culinary environment
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Understanding of kitchen operations and familiarity with culinary terminology
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
- Must know brunch/breakfast
- Saturday/Sunday AM required Wednesday & Thursday PM
