OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY The Cashier is assigned to assist the staff of Restaurant Associates at the Egg on all aspects of front of house service for assigned stations. The Cashier is to assist guests with the check-out process. Assignments include ringing up sales, bagging items & collecting payment while treating our guests with the very best hospitality skills and professionalism. SHIFTS
Weekdays/Weekends
This position is considered an Essential Service role, where you may be required to work opening/closing shifts, weekends/Holidays/Faculty Seminar Days, and during inclement weather.
ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts all transactions on Point of Sale system and ensures proper collection/payment for all items sold.
Restock and return items to correct place.
Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food & equipment.
Assists other employees and staff in other areas of front of house operations as needed.
Keep cashier area clean and clear.
All other duties as assigned for front of house service.
PREREQUISITES
None
PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCES
Previous experience with Micros/Point of Sale Systems
Previous experience in Foodservice

Successful applicant must be able to perform all related functions of the assignment which may include working nights and weekends, ability to bend reach and stand for long periods of time, lifting and carrying of items up to fifty (50) pounds, and the ability to withstand high ambient temperatures.
