The Dance House House Napa Valley is seeking to hire a professional and experienced dance instructor to join our renowned faculty.
We are looking to hire 1-2 teachers for our 2024-2025 season.
Please only apply if you have teaching experience in one or multiple of the following styles: Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics/Tumbling, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Preschool Dance.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. The Dance House Napa Valley has both recreational and company programs ranging from beginner thru advanced.

Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons for children
- Instruct students in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, and contemporary
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior effectively
- Collaborate with other instructors to develop curriculum
- Utilize creative teaching methods to engage students
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Organize performances and recitals showcasing student achievements
Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children
- Proficiency in dance styles like ballet, jazz, or contemporary
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Ability to plan engaging and structured dance lessons
- Experience in behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with curriculum development for dance programs
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
