The DarkStar Group is Hiring a Systems Administrator (TS/SCI + CI Poly) with Security Clearance Near Bethesda, MD

Description The DarkStar Group is seeking a Systems Administrator with a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance to join one of our top projects in Bethesda, MD. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program. THE PROJECT The DarkStar Group's team provides Analytic Software Development, Data Engineering, and Cloud Migration services, as well as interagency communication and data-sharing solutions, as part of an enterprise program that spans two major Intelligence Community customers. This project regularly has new openings for Software Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure Experts, DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, SharePoint Developers and Administrators, ServiceNow Developers, and various other types of IT professionals. Work on this program takes place in Herndon, McLean, and Bethesda (we cannot support remote work) and requires a TS/SCI Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer). THE ROLE The DarkStar Group is seeking a motivated senior level Windows and Linux Systems Administrator to
augment the Program Management Office (PMO) that is entrusted by the U.S. Government to
provide operations and maintenance, and development of custom financial applications. We value

emergent technologies that are strategically aligned to best practices. As part of the Intel
Application Services, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American
people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. You will participate in the
process to gather, documents and groom budgetary system requirements and identify opportunities
to engineer solutions that address the requirements. You will actively participate on a team that
provides engineering, operations and support of critical cloud-based systems and infrastructure,
ensuring optimal efficiencies and availability. Duties include but are not limited to: * Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 identification, diagnosis and resolution for events, incidents, and problems for cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
* Provide sustainment, security vulnerability and POAM support for Windows and Linux cloud-based systems, storage, and networks.
* Provision and manage cloud-based services, systems, storage, and infrastructure.
* Support for infrastructure services to include Active Directory, WSUS, LDAP, DNS, Splunk and others.
* Support for software licensing and PKI certification renewals.
* Support deployment and configuration of COTS and GOTS applications.
* Support developers, application testers, and others' requests for infrastructure support.
* Maintain system documentation and artifacts.
* Participate in planning and scrum agile ceremonies.
Required Skills * 6 years of directly relevant systems administration experience including hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
* 6 years of direct relevant experience configuring and maintaining the Information Technology Infrastructure associated with an IT system hosted in the AWS cloud environment.
* 4 years of directly relevant experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Print Management, Windows Server Roles & Features, WSUS, PowerShell, Windows Licensing & KMS, Certificate creation & management, Account creation & management.
* Experience accrediting IT systems under the ICD 503 Certification and Accreditation Process.
* Strong leadership skills, excellent communicator, and multitasker.
* Desire to take on difficult tasks and mentor/assist team members.
* Experience working within an agile sprint development team environment using Jira and Confluence.
* Ability to creatively collaborate with other program personnel to ensure a unified and well-executed goal.
* Composure and ability to lead with confidence and calmness when faced with competing high-priority projects and difficult decisions and when delivering presentations. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision or in a team setting.
