The DC Center for Independent Living, Inc is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a mix of in-person and remote work. Job Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries Assist with month-end close Generate financial statements Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Manage balance sheets and general ledger Perform account reconciliations Experience in public accounting Proficiency in accounting software Conduct account reconciliation and internal control Knowledge of tax regulations CPA certification preferred Financial reporting and forecasting Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning systems Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable Support finance department as needed Company Information: DCCIL serves people of all ages.
