We are currently looking for a General Manager who will provide strategic leadership to optimize the company’s operations, meeting customers’ needs and the company’s objectives. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO this individual must be an energetic, trustworthy, forward-thinking individual who possesses high ethical standards. Our next high functional leader should have experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of integrating continuous improvements efforts into manufacturing process positively affecting the bottom line.
More specifically they will be expected to:
· Collaborate with the ‘Visionary’ as the ‘Integrator’ developing and implementing concepts and ideas into real operational practices.
· Communicate DECC’s strategic vision, Core Values, mission, and objectives to staff in a manner that inspires commitment and action.
· Monitor performance metrics and implements changes that drive cost reductions and improve safety, quality, productivity, efficiencies, and profitability.
· Collaborate with management team to develop and champion continuous improvement, best practices, operational excellence, and policies that support DECC’s strategic plan.
· Recommend production processes and programs to improve DECC’s competitive position, operational profitability, capacity, and growth strategy while maintaining high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
· Mentor, develop, and lead direct reports in matters affecting performance and results creating a team-oriented environment that fosters trust.
· Nurture potential and current customer and supplier relationships to promote DECC’s values and image.
· Develop comprehensive operational plans and manage organizational resources and expenses to ensure monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets are achieved.
· Assist with decisions and prioritization of daily and on-going operational activities to staff.
· Embrace and maximize optimal ongoing use of DECC’s manufacturing PLEX system.
· Oversee contract review including customer assessments.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should possess the following qualifications :
· Bachelor’s degree and 10 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment required.
· Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry and related quality standards (ISO 9001).
· Knowledge of production and engineering processes
· Understanding of PPAP, APQP, FMEA's and other related processes.
· Familiarity with governmental regulations that affect business operations.
· A track record of developing successful production operations that meet customer requirements.
· Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills.
· Planning and organizational skills.
· Possess a broad business perspective.
· Advanced knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
