Discovery Tree Therapies, LLC is currently looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in beautiful sunny Fort Walton Beach, FL! We are a quality provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in the home, community, as well as in our fun and welcoming clinical setting. RBT's will work under the supervision and receive ongoing support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBT's will provide one-on-one services in the clinical, home, and community settings to assist children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in achieving skills across all environments.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that the client is always in a safe and positive environment.
Follows the policies and procedures of The Discovery Tree Therapies, LLC
Be energetic and always engaged with clients
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy, intensive teaching, and natural environment training in home, and community-based environments
Implement individualized treatment plans by following behavioral acquisition and behavior reduction protocols developed by BCBAs
Collect, record and summarize data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan
Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals
Effectively communicate with parents/caregivers as instructed by BCBA
Support the BCBA with training families/ caregivers on ABA principals and implementing individualized treatment plan
Participate in team meetings and training workshops
Assist in preparing client materials as instructed
Participate in indirect work when not with clients
Responsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and trainings once employed including, but not limited to: CPR, Fingerprinting & Background Checks, RBT trainings and other company in-services and trainings as directed by company policies

Requirements:

High school Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education or a related field or working towards degree preferred
Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Must obtain and maintain a current BLS and CPR certificate done in a face to face setting
Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of valid car insurance, eligibility to work in the United States, and reliable transportation
Must have NPI number
Must be able to pass National Background Check Level 2
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and creative
Must be able to conduct protocols based on VB-MAPP, PEAK, ABLLS, AFLS, or similar programs and collect data
Experience working in home setting, and community setting
Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance to employee handbook
Must adhere to organizational policies and procedures
Must abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws
Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to home, community, and clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities
Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols

Working Conditions:

Lifting up to 40lbs. and/participating in continuous activities for 4 or more hours indoors or outdoors
Managing time, implementation of specified programs, daily data collection for targeted skills, and communication with lead BCBA (written, verbal and/or in-person).
Sudden movements, sitting/standing for extended periods, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, and/or running.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
