The Doctors Clinic is Hiring a Supervisor Near Silverdale, WA

JOB TITLE: Supervisor – Salmon Medical CenterREPORTS TO: Clinic Manager FLSA STATUS: ExemptJOB OVERVIEW: Supervising leader and facilitator of day to day operations within the Salmon Medical Center. Responsible for managing the individual performance of staff. Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Manages day to day operations for physicians, patient and employees in assigned area.
  • Facilitates efficient operations by providing direction, guidance and counseling to staff. Solicits input from manager and staff.
  • Responsible for assuring customer/patient service needs are met. Monitors patient service feedback and works with manager in the resolution of complaints and service issues.
  • Provides contact and follow-up with the staff and manager with the ability to communicate current information and organization changes / happenings.
  • Coordinates tasks and creates business plan for assigned area in cooperation with manager and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Responsible for day to day staff scheduling and coverage.
  • Works with HR, and manager on hiring and coaching, development, discipline and firing (when necessary) of staff according to established guidelines.
  • Identifies areas of specific training needs and coordinates implementing with manager.
  • Maintains highest level of confidentiality in regards to internal proprietary information and patient information.
  • Develops strong inter-department teamwork and empowerment to meet the needs of the patients and physicians.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities to build employee morale and individual motivation.
  • Works with manager to manage appropriate staffing ratios and overtime.
  • Supports and promotes a positive role model and image with vendors, patients, staff, other managers and physicians.
  • Follows all required regulatory and legal compliance related to confidentiality, safety, (HIPAA, OSHA, etc)
Additional Responsibilities1 Document work processes as required.
  • Acts as liaison for the assigned area or department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation: B.A. or A.A. degree preferred
Certification: CPR certification for Health Care Providers .
Experience
  • Previous experience in assigned area preferred. Appropriate licensure or accreditation and continuing education in existing area of expertise.
  • Leadership experience required.

  • Demonstrated supervisory skills, i.e., ability to provide team leadership, to role model professional, customer service behavior, and to build effective work teams required.

  • Effective listener and communicator that interfaces well with staff.

Physical Requirements
  • Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
  • Speaking: Must be able to communicate clearly to patients and coworkers in person and over the telephone.
  • Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
  • Other: The position is mostly sitting with standing and walking occasionally throughout the day. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing less than 5 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds. Requires occasional bending and reaching.

The hourly starting salary range for this position is $25.25 - $31.56. The salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on the applicant's education, training, experience, licensure/certifications, as well as internal equity and alignment with local market data. At The Doctors Clinic, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Compensation and benefit eligibility are based off of FTE, assigned job classification and description.
