In immediate need of a passionate, creative and motivated individual to join the grooming team at our local store. The ideal candidate has had experience grooming dogs, has a demonstrated love for animals, and is motivated by a strong desire to perform both general and specialty grooming services.

Groomers need to be able to work with management/front desk to create a realistic schedule and have the time management skills necessary to adhere to the set schedule. This job requires customer service, dog-handling capabilities, and, of course, a refined skill set in regard to grooming.

Responsibilities include:

• Trim pets according to owners’ instructions.
• Perform basic grooming services, like nail trims, teeth brushing, bathing, and conditioning.
• Perform routine cleaning of grooming room and surrounding areas.

Preferred experience: Completion of a grooming school program or one-year apprenticeship to a professional groomer.

Expected salary: minimum of 47-52% Commission, plus tips
