We are looking for one person to have 2 roles on a weekly basis divided between cashiering and hosting.
HOST JOB DESCRIPTION:
- SMILE, SMILE, SMILE! —appearance must be nice, neat and clean, proper uniform according to our requirements
- Greet customers with a friendly greeting, good morning or good afternoon before you ask “How many in your party?”
- Have the ability to provide customers with accurate wait times
- Be able to stand on your feet for 6 hour increments
- Learn how to rotate seating between different sections to ensure even workloads for waitstaff
- must be able to effectively communicate with bussers, servers and management
- In the event of a problem please always get a manager
- Keep front door windexed and floor area clean from debris
- Clean menus as needed throughout the day
- Complete side work before leaving and check out with a manager
- Have a food handlers certificate (or obtain one within 2 weeks of being hired) and understand the restaurant’s sanitation rules
- Any other duties deemed necessary by management
CASHIER JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Stand on feet for 6 hours at a time
- Greet customers politely & quickly when arriving and leaving
- Properly run cash register, count back change & thoroughly run credit card machines.
- Learn the menu for take out orders
- Phone etiquette and properly take to go orders
- Learn take out bagging system
- Do daily & weekly side work after each shift
- Be attentive at all times
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
