Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manufacturing machinery according to established procedures.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running efficiently and producing quality products.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow food safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports related to machine operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift and occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
The successful candidate will be required to have a current driver's license, complete a background process including a criminal check and drug screen.
