Payroll & Benefits Coordinator – Toledo, OH

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Biweekly payroll processing which includes collection and review of biweekly time records for accurate and timely payment to employees
  • Maintain records for employee compensation/time off/withholding/garnishments, compliance with federal, state and local laws, changes in payroll rates, and status changes
  • Administration and complete understanding of benefit programs offered by the company
  • Comply with all employment requirements and reporting
  • Maintain permanent employment records for employees and other human resources records
  • Process payments for overhead invoices
  • Record A/R billings and cash receipts and maintain ledgers
  • Answer general questions from employees regarding payroll and benefits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excel and Word
  • Ability to use cloud based systems to administrate benefit programs
  • Strong verbal communication
  • Attention to details
  • Experience in processing payroll
  • Experience in administrating benefits
  • Willingness to learn

Additional Information

Competitive salary, benefits, and financial incentives are offered. Work will include minimal to no travel.
