THE DRIPBaR is growing! Our concept is simple. We provide our customers with the highest quality IV drips and IM shots. Along with Vitamin therapy we focus on peptides and weight loss injections.

We are looking for a happy and upbeat nurse with weekend availability, to help us promote and deliver intravenous vitamin therapies to support our client's healthy lifestyles. Our clients are interested in anti-aging, health support, improving energy and mental sharpness. They are not waiting to get sick; they are working to stay well. We also support many clients battling through chronic illnesses such as cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, cognitive impairment, and other challenging conditions that are only partially addressed by conventional medicine.

The right candidate will be confident, outgoing, and have a nursing philosophy supportive of the complementary, client centered healthcare that we deliver. THE DRIPBaR IV nurse specialist will assess a client's health, as well as detect changes in symptoms, or pain, and will need to know when action is necessary. They will be sympathetic to a patient's needs and be able to interact with people in various emotional states.

Our nurses mix and administer IV vitamin infusions and work with specific protocols, so attention to detail is crucial. Our nurses will face multiple patients, with differing needs and stages of health. Being organized and knowing how to prioritize is a must.

You will be communicating directly with patients who may have a lot of questions. You will need to be an active listener and good communicator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare IV and IM vitamins for administration with appropriate technique
  • Performs placement of peripheral IV's
  • Monitor client while infusion is taking place
  • Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Clean and maintain nurses station & sterile hood
  • Cleaning during/after your shift of the lounge area, light laundry, organizing the supply room, stocking supplies for the next day, etc.
  • Document therapy details in client's charts using EMR
  • Various office and customer service duties to include but not limited to: verifying the correct forms are filled out and complete, reviewing health history forms, and providing excellent customer service to each client
  • Consult and coordinate with our medical provider when necessary on standing orders to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient IV or injection therapy plans
  • Be able to function in the heat of emergency and act according to protocol

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Registered Nurse
  • Must possess VERY strong peripheral IV skills
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years current nursing experience; IV therapy/starting peripheral IVs, patient assessment skills, venous access skills
  • BSL certification current
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
  • Must be a positive team player with our front desk staff & other nurses
  • Must be able available on set weekends

Working Conditions

May work around usual office and outpatient conditions. During busy periods, may require long periods of time standing and/or walking and administering multiple IVs and injections at a time. Must be able to chart accurately and in a timely fashion. May work around biohazards. Exposure to blood born pathogens is possible. Exposure to chemicals and commercial items typically found in offices, medical clinics, and building repairs /maintenance.
