- Make electrical repairs to modern high-speed packaging equipment.
- Perform preventive/predictive electrical maintenance tasks .
- Analyzing and addressing the root causes of electrical issues in order to repair complex electrical equipment.
- Maintaining AB, Siemens, and GE microprocessors (PLC), Servo motor drives, operator interface terminals (HMI), and Fanuc and ABB robotic systems.
- Reading and using diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and data using maintenance software.
- Have a basic knowledge of electronics and electrical theories, including digital circuitry, AC/DC theory, microprocessors, and logic systems.
- Can work independently and use judgement to make effective and timely decisions.
- Can work as a member of an electrical team and communicate technical information to other personnel.
- Are comfortable working on a computer and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2 years Industrial electrical experience.
- Have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed application.
- Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC controls and computers.
- Have current or past Low Voltage Safety Qualification (LVQ).
