The Edge of Town Tavern is Hiring a Head Chef Near Plymouth, NH

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at our renowned establishment. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties:

- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop innovative menu items that reflect seasonal availability and meet customer preferences
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and maintain a cohesive team environment
- Collaborate with management to plan special events, catering services, and menu promotions

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of various culinary styles, techniques, and ingredients
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
