Job Description: Our LCSW will be working with clients who have been diagnosed with mental health/substance use disorders. It is a job which requires strict boundaries with patients and staff alike. We need someone who can accurately track a patient's progress and growth through our program while ensuring all reports and forms are filled out accurately and maintained properly. You will be expected to develop realistic treatment goals for our clients which are ethical, follow clinical practices and maintain the highest professional standards. Individuals with a background in mental health/addiction treatment or human services strongly preferred. Opportunities for growth. Duties include, but not limited to: Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, staff, physicians, visitors, and other staff. Professional boundaries must be maintained at all times
Attend all weekend activities.
Collect information about clients using assessments, tests, interviews, discussions, observations, etc. and distil information into detailed notes tracking progress as needed
Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
Provide therapy to clients individually and in group sessions with the goal of making positive changes
Collaborate with team members in staff meetings, and occasionally with the clinical supervision
Create treatment plan goals with client which follow procedures, adhere to code of ethics, meet legal clinical practice protocols, and maintain professional standards
Skills:
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Familiarity with mental health and/or substance treatment industry: 12 step terminology, etc
Proficiency in KIPU Systems Client Management Software
