The Egging Company is Hiring a Plasma Table Operator Near Clinton, IA
Summary: Puts steel plates onto torch beds with overhead crane. Cuts and removes finished parts and ensures quality and quantity. Ensures all parts meet blueprint specifications. Places cut parts in proper locations and scrap steel onto scrap piles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Places steel plates on table in proper position. Measures plate thickness and checks plate specifications.
Programs nest into Burny Computer. On the CNC oxy-fuel torch / Plasma, sets torch head spacing per instructions on the torch nest. For non-CNC oxy-fuel torch, places Mylar torch pattern on table and manually calculates torch head spacing
Turns on gasses and water lines.
Turns on power unit.
Selects proper voltage for thickness of plates.
Selects proper speed of travel.
Checks parts to blueprint for thickness and dimensions.
Correctly identifies, counts and marks all part per company procedure before parts are moved to next location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
