The Emily Program is Hiring a Behavioral Health Technician - PRN Near Durham, NC

Job Details

Our teams are passionate, talented individuals who provide a full continuum of care that’s individualized to each patient and who collaborate across disciplines to ensure lasting recovery.
Position OverviewThe Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.
Schedule: PRN Day Shift - 7AM-7:30PM (3 Shifts per month)
How Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) Empower Recovery
  • Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support to residents at mealtimes and snacks
  • Supports residents during structured outings and recreation
  • Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment
  • Monitors and documents exercise
  • Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Mental health experience preferred
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred
