The Endowment Project is Hiring a Marketing and Communications Coordinator Near Richmond, VA
Job OverviewThe Communications and Marketing Coordinator will manage and execute various communication and marketing initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a flair for storytelling. The coordinator will oversee annual fund campaigns, email campaigns, social media, digital marketing, direct mail, site content, and marketing materials to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual fund campaigns and general email campaigns.
- Create and curate content for organic social media and manage paid digital marketing campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, and Google.
- Design and distribute direct mail campaigns.
- Maintain and update all site copy and content.
- Develop and produce print and digital marketing materials.
- Ensure all marketing and communications content is brand-appropriate, professional, and effective.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create cohesive and compelling marketing strategies.
- Track and analyze campaign performance to optimize future efforts.
- Provide constructive feedback on creative work and create detailed creative briefs.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or political environment.
- Proficiency in Meta, LinkedIn, and Google marketing programs.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM databases (Luminate Email Marketing and Blackbaud CRM experience are pluses).
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a high level of taste and awareness of current visual and communication trends.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva experience is a plus).
- Experience in creating and editing photos and videos for publishing.
- Understanding of current social media marketing trends.
- Ability to create and provide constructive feedback on creative briefs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
