The Experiential Group is Hiring a Senior Producer - Experiential Marketing Near Brooklyn, NY

Role Overview: The Senior Producer is responsible for leading the production and client management of often large, complex and key agency projects. This includes ensuring that projects are executed on time, on budget, while aligned with client expectations. This role reports to the Director of Production and is a hybrid role, requiring at least (2) days per week in our Dumbo Brooklyn, NY office. 

Capabilities and Requirements: 

  • At least 5-7 years of experiential production experience
  • Prior experience leading and managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent project management, organizational, delegation and prioritization skills
  • Strong leadership and management foundation, skills and experience
  • Excellent account/client and team management skills
  • Prior experience creating and building budgets ranging from <$100K up to $1M
  • Prior experience overseeing at least (1) project team member
  • Prior experience collaborating with both in-house and external freelance creatives as projects require
  • Experience working with technical vendors, fabricators, specialists and artis throughout the country
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills - both internally and externally
  • Diplomatic when handling and working with all clients, including executives and key client stakeholders
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Decisive, assertive and strategic in decision making
  • Experienced and creative approach to budget management and upselling/revenue growth
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, self-starter
  • Ability to work collaboratively as needed
  • Ability to travel for projects as required 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and execute large, complex, multidisciplinary projects with creative and strategic objectives
  • Produce and manage multiple projects simultaneously (with support where necessary)
  • Lead day to day production and client management on assigned projects, working with internal and external teams as necessary
  • Manage project teams that may include Producers, Associate Producers, interns and/or specialists or freelancers
  • Demonstrate clear, consistent, effective communication both internally and externally
  • Adept at ensuring a project stays on strategy and is able to meet client KPIs and priorities while staying on track
  • Lead internal external status meetings, weeklies, site visits, internal milestone meetings and post-mortems; creating agendas and recaps as needed
  • Create and manage key documents in real-time including: workback schedules, project budgets, production schedules and other documents as needed
  • Secure client approvals as needed, obtaining approval in writing for all deliverables
  • Work cross-functionally with internal TXG teams on assigned projects
  • Collaborate closely with internal design, creative strategy and/or freelance creatives as project needs require
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships in conjunction with Director of Client Services, always listening for future opportunities
  • Review vendor contracts, flagging to legal/ops as needed
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions as requested
  • Manage and track profitable budgets based on agency targets, reconciling against the P&L upon completion
  • Recognize potential conflicts or obstacles in advance, have contingency plans prepared and find alternate solutions as necessary
  • Work with the internal team to plan social media usage and marketing/press in advance of execution
  • Create and contribute to post-project wrap-up documents and recaps
  • Attend weekly budget and project status meetings to review status of active projects and closeouts
  • Attend monthly full-team production meetings with the rest of the Production team, led by the Director of Production
  • Create and participate in new business deliverables as requested - this will include budgets, decks, research and general production vetting
  • Attend new business briefings and pitches as requested
  • Adhere to established processes during all phases of a project from kick-off to pre-pro, production, execution, wrap and close
  • Utilize internal systems including time tracking, project management and expense management software in accordance with Operations department stated deadlines
