Level5 Events is seeking an experienced Creative Director that can develop and execute big ideas in bringing marketing strategies, activations, and experiential events to life. The ideal person has a hybrid background in corporate and high ed events. This candidate should comfortable presenting ideas and concepts to customers and can build strong relationships both internally and externally.
We're looking for someone with the ability to lead a creative team, manage complex design plans and loves jumping into designing themselves. They will work cross functionally with strategists, creative team and sales leaders, and use consultative discovery with clients to determine their needs and ideas. This role is an out of the box thinker, dedicated to learning and evolving creatively. A creative who can ask the rights questions, quickly distill and can mood board out innovative concepts to customers and teams to align on execution.
The Creative Director will become an integral member of our Creative team, working alongside talented Environmental Designers, Graphic Designers, Producers and Content Developers. We're looking for someone with 5-10 years of professional experience in event design, agency or related fields, a BFA/BS in Graphic Design/Industrial Design/Architecture or relevant work experience in a related design discipline or similar work experience, strong 2D graphic design, branding and writing illustrating diversity and creativity is a must, along with experience leading a team of designers.
We're looking for someone who can:

• Drive and lead creative calls to distill information into design plans, briefs, proposals and next steps.
• Develop concepts, implement design strategies, and produce interactive and brand-design oriented solutions
• Give creative direction and constructive design criticism to both clients and internal teams
• Communicate to all stakeholders the design schedules and milestones to meet customer / project deadlines
• Lead Environmental Designers, Graphic Designers and Content Development on a per assignment basis
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment under tight deadlines.
• Work within the Association, Corporate Event and Higher Ed verticals
• Utilize their organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Contribute to promoting the company image.
• Communicate effectively - both verbal and written.
• Pull everything together utilizing strong creative writing, presentation and proposal experience
