Our state-of-the-art medical eye care practice is looking for a friendly, goal oriented person to join our team. We have talented surgeons backed by a well-educated, friendly & caring staff.
Some experience in Medical Administration is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is detail oriented that will assist in all avenues of running the Practice. The Practice Administrator has 2 Admin Assts that are cross trained and help cover over positions as needed from the Front Desk to Pre and Post Op for the ASC.
Administrative Assistant roles may include duties such as: Accounts Payable, Ordering supplies, running and analyzing detailed Xcel reports, helping with protocols, Policy and Procedure manuals, Quality Assurance activities and reports, acting as member of Quality Assurance committee, acting as a member of the Safety Committee, acting as a member of the MIPS committee, credentialing, Helping with Master Schedules, etc
As a Front Desk Cross Trained: check-in, check-out patients, answer in & out going calls, register demographics, gather and process insurance information, collect copay's and payments, schedule appointments for multiple locations, prepare surgical paperwork, scan charts, handle correspondence from referring doctors, etc
Pre-op / Post-op: Take patient Vitals, review medication, review preop/post op protocol, obtain consents, reassure patients throughout the process.
Computer knowledge is a must.

Travel is required to our satellite offices (Red Lodge, MT and Lander, WY) - in rotation with other staff. - as backup
Hours may vary Full time = 7a-5:30p M-F, (40 hours/wk)- usually 1 day is a shorter shift which will vary by week --- can be a standard shift unless covering for another department
No Nights or Weekends scheduled unless special function.
A background check and drug screen will be administered upon acceptance of the position. (including Marijuana since we are a federal contractor and it's federally illegal)
