Senior Accountant Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision for assigned brands
• Maintain account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
• Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
• Responsible for reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable, and other subledger
• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
• Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions
• Prepare lease schedules in accordance to lease accounting standards
• Assist in internal and external audit: prepare schedules, supporting documentation, and research
• Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in month end close process
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Self-motivated individual capable of completing tasks independently
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis
• Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Great attention to detail
