The Ford Agency is Hiring an Executive Assistant & Policy Advisor Near Washington, DC

The Ford Agency is seeking a professional Executive Assistant & Policy Advisor to support busy executives at a global law firm's DC office. This individual will be flexible, organized, able to anticipate the executive's needs, and work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that has experience supporting diplomats, or politicians, and has an awareness and understanding of handling confidential information with diplomacy and poise!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct research and analysis for senior executives
  • Draft client proposals, contracts and bids for new work
  • Prepare detailed itineraries
  • Respond to invitation requests on behalf of executives
  • Prepare guest lists and invitations for events and verify RSVPs
  • Handle visa arrangements for foreign travel
  • Coordinate travel logistics and prepare detailed itineraries

Qualifications Include:

  • 4 years of administrative or scheduling experience for an Ambassador or politician
  • Experience making visa and travel arrangements
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy, discretion and respect
  • Exceptional communication skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
