Job Description

The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join the team of a prestigious law firm. This individual will support an array of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. This is a contract role, eligible for benefits, and scheduled to go through March 2025.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles
  • Assist with administration of benefits (DC Family and Medical Leave, Parental Leave, etc.)
  • Contribute to the annual performance review process
  • Assist with planning and developing training and professional development programs and curriculum
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of previous Human Resources experience, law firm setting preferred
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting
  • Knowledge of HR and Labor/Employment laws
  • Strong communication skills and customer service
  • Flexibility for overtime as needed
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
