The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for candidates with excellent writing and editing skills to join a media relations and communications team at a top DC law firm. The Coordinator will draft and edit a wide array of written materials to best position the firm, attorneys, and practice groups in industry publications and the news. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a solid administrative foundation looking to transition into a communications role.

Responsibilities Include:

• Draft award nominations, editorial submissions, and news releases
• Coordinate with a variety of legal publications specifically with awards and nominations
• Update and maintain attorney and practice group rankings and update attorney bios in a timely manner
• Assist with other media relations and communications projects

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• 2 years of administrative experience
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
