The Executive Chef oversees all culinary functions of the restaurant and is responsible for managing daily operations, including the development of menus, financial performance, portion and inventory control, food quality, and employee management.
As the Executive Chef, you will lead a team driven by culinary excellence. You ensure high standards are met by providing hands-on leadership, training, support, development, and management of the kitchen staff. You will drive menu design and kitchen creativity, design plating presentations for each dish, and ensure that all food meets the highest quality standards to create a memorable guest experience.
The Foundry is consistently rated as one of the best restaurants in the area. The Executive Chef has access to the finest products and ingredients; there are no limits to the creative opportunities this affords. Our ideal candidate has formal culinary training and experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You have previous managerial or supervisory experience, a thorough knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, and a demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control. You have a passion for cooking, an eye for detail, and strong leadership qualities.
