Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking a Host/Host with experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant to join our team at The Foundry at Summit Pond.

The Host/Hostess is responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will greet guests upon arrival, manage reservations and take-out orders, and support restaurant staff as needed. You have strong organizational and multitasking skills and can monitor the dining room and bar area. You enjoy talking to people, have a customer-oriented approach, and have excellent communication skills. Previous host/hostess experience is required.

Due to the nature of our business, weekend availability is required.

• Provide excellent customer service
• Be able to anticipate guest needs
• Have the ability to learn, understand, and explain menus and daily specials
• Take part in pre-service duties and closing duties
• Demonstrate a passion for details and a willingness to learn
• Have a working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Uphold hospitality standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
