The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is in ­Des Plaines, IL 60018. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• $35 - $37/hour based on previous experience and education.
• 12-month assignment, potential for convert to FTE based on performance.
• Position will be in the on-market product repair lab.
• Position will involve troubleshooting, disassembling, and reassembling of benchtop medical device modules per procedures and training.
• Brief Assignment Synopsis- Troubleshoot and repair Thermal Electromechanical Medical Devices.
• Specialists will have, procedures, test fixtures, tools, and software applications to evaluate module failures.
• Whole parts will be replaced, and units upgraded to current design and released for use after successful testing. Candidates will undergo significant training.

Qualifications:

• Degree in biomedical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant experience (may include internship/co-op), preferably lab work, documentation, cleanroom and/or medical device troubleshooting, disassembly and repair.
• Must have good computer skills, mechanically skilled, excellent documentation ability.
