Job Description:
- Shift: Monday-Friday 1st shift.
- This is a temporary assignment that is slated for 1 year with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Position is responsible for operation and functionality of the Roche Sequencing platform and sample Prep platform to ensure minimal system down time.
- Position is also responsible for working with the engineering teams on resolving discovered issues and propose solutions to common failure modes. Including, supporting the lab teams with system troubleshooting both at the hardware/software level and the assay level.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or a master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting for development and operations of microfluidics, liquid handlers, diagnostic systems, and/or NGS system.
- Experience with JMP, R and/ or Python a plus.
