Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Executive Chef located in Lubbock, TX. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, designing menus, and managing kitchen staff. You will ensure high-quality food preparation, create innovative dishes, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards. You will collaborate with the management team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones, manage inventory and food costs, and ensure the overall success of the culinary department. Most importantly you will lead a group of excited kitchen professionals through their culinary development in a professionally designed and equipped kitchen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
• Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of current food trends and ability to create innovative and appealing menus
• Certification from a culinary school is preferred
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and optimize kitchen operations
• Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
