Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Design and create unique floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements based on their preferences and budget
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Arrange delivery of floral arrangements to customers' specified locations
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Ability to sell products and upsell additional services to customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of retail math for pricing and calculating prices for flowers
- Experience in retail sales, including cash handling and operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Creative flair with an eye for color, texture, and design aesthetics
- Knowledge of plant maintenance techniques is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
