Job Title: Logistics Analyst III

Job Summary/Purpose: The Gemini 3 Group (G3G) is seeking a full-time Logistics Analyst III to support a valued Department of Defense (DoD) customer. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
• Lead and direct integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide life-cycle support of systems and equipment.
• Recommend ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards.
• Analyze models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics software for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement and size, selection of transportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, continuous moves, and shipment to foreign customers.
• Determine proper logistics support sequences and time phasing problems arising from location of operation area and factors such as environmental and human factors.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced logistics analysts.
• Prepare, review, update and maintain logistics documentation, as required.
• Track, monitor, and maintain logistics documentation electronically, within Government-designated repositories.
• Track all hardware warranty and software license use.
• Plan and coordinate fielding conferences.
• Assist in the collection, analysis, reconciliation and forecasting of requirements to support, replace, or upgrade Information Technology (IT) hardware and software items.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Working knowledge of DoD/USMC acquisition policies, as well as various tools: Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), Remedy, Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS), and Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) systems.
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized, able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Military experience acceptable in lieu of education.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics acquisition.
