Position SummaryThe ER Nurse Leader will be an expert in managing patient care in the clinical area of the ED. They will facilitate and participate in ongoing efforts to plan, implement, and evaluate optimal patient care delivery systems. They will always ensure effective ongoing communications and information sharing occur at the inter/intra-departmental levels. The ED manager will assure the delivery of quality clinical services in accordance with established hospital and regulatory/accreditation agency. Promote a positive and professional image and is a role model, coach, mentor, problem solver and and resource for staff and peers.
QualificationsEDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBSN, MS in Nursing or Master degree in related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background
Certification in specialty preferred
Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
