The Penny Ice Creamery, founded in Santa Cruz, CA makes ice cream completely from scratch, in house, using local and organic ingredients sourced from local farms and foragers. We make unique flavors like Honey Lavender, Earl of Grey, and Raspberry Rose! We also make timeless flavors like Cookies n' Cream and Straight Up Strawberry, and our classics like Fresh Mint Chip, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, and Dark Chocolate.
As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be creating a fun and memorable experience for our guests by scooping ice cream, making ice cream sundaes and milkshakes and various novelty items, making coffee and tea drinks, and of course toasting that marshmallow fluff.
We currently operate six Penny Ice Creamery locations:
-Downtown Santa Cruz-Pleasure Point in Capitola-Aptos Village-Scotts Valley-Palo Alto-Los Altos
Requirements
-Must have availability during the week, weekends and holidays on a reliable basis.
-MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THROUGH SUMMER 2024.-Must be available to work 20 hours a week on a reliable basis.
-Preference will be given to individuals with experience in food service, although we will train the right person.
-Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team.
-Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
