Role Overview:

Our client is a boutique restructuring & turnaround advisory firm that specializes in assisting businesses during significant growth challenges, organizational complexities, and pivotal moments. They are also raising a debt for control fund for distressed investments. They are seeking to hire a Director of Restructuring to build their presence in Miami. You will be an instrumental figure, guiding businesses towards maximizing returns, achieving optimum potential, and fostering lasting partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis & Recommendations:

· Conduct and supervise in-depth financial assessments of companies to deliver impactful insights and findings.

· Present insights and proposals to senior professionals both internally and at client companies.

Project and Team Management:

· Supervise all project phases, ensuring quality and timeliness.

· Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Associates and Analysts, streamlining workstreams efficiently.

· Play an integral role in business development, client and practice development, including potential cross-industry engagements.

Restructuring and Negotiations:

· Craft comprehensive restructuring and turnaround strategies.

· Engage in pivotal lender and owner negotiations.

· Collaborate on bankruptcy engagements, which might include liaising with legal experts, managing liquidity, and overseeing business plan development.

Client Relationship and Business Development:

· Forge and nurture robust client relationships, offering a diverse range of services.

· Handle client expectations regarding project outcomes and deadlines.

· Participate in enhancing the practice and firm through mentorship, business development, and other growth-oriented activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Educational Background: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related arena. Advanced degree is an asset.

· Professional Experience: 10 years in restructuring, turnaround consulting, crisis management, M&A, or a comparable consulting domain serving a diverse clientele.

· Technical Proficiency: Mastery over Microsoft Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint. Deep experience in crafting financial models, particularly 13-week cash flow forecasts.

· Bankruptcy Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedures with hands-on experience in pertinent financial documentation.

· Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated leadership skills complemented by exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

· Adaptability: Capacity to manage varied priorities, projects, and willingness to travel as required.

Competitive compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $250,000, depending the experience, qualifications, and relevant skill sets. Base salary is only a portion of the total compensation. There is an extremely generous bonus plan with additional performance-based upside.
