Position: Temporary Accounting and Data Entry Specialist
Location: Sioux Falls
Duration: 3 months
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Rate of Pay: $16/hr
Job Description:
The Accounting Temp is responsible for assisting the Accounting department with preparing refunds and data entry. This position is expected to last 3 months.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing refunds
• Data Entry - download reports to save appropriately and enter data into Excel files
• File Management - organize and manage electronic and physical data files
• Data Verification- review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies
• Data Cleaning - clean and maintain data by removing duplicates, handling missing or incomplete information, and ensuring data integrity
• Data Categorization - categorize and label data appropriately to ensure it is organized and easy to search
• Confidentiality - handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain data security

Education & Other Minimum Requirements

• Attention to Detail - a high level of attention to detail is essential to ensure data accuracy
• Computer Proficiency - proficiency in using computer software and data entry tools including Microsoft Excel
• Organizational Skills - the ability to organize and categorize data effectively is important
• Communication - good written and verbal communication skills are necessary for reporting and interacting with team members
• Problem-Solving - the ability to identify and rectify data-related issues and discrepancies
• Adaptability - data entry specialists should be able to adapt to changes in data entry software or processes
