Our Award-Winning Goddard School located at 10211 Krause Road in Chesterfield is looking to add a full-time Assistant Teacher (hours 9 : 00 - 6 : 00) with at least 6 months of experience in a licensed facility to join our Team.

We are looking for that special someone to be hands-on and loving in our older Infant classroom. We pride ourselves on providing the best childcare experience for all children and families in our school.

Responsibilitie s

• Assists the lead teacher in preparing materials for the classroom activities
• Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained
• Helps children with meal times and clean-up
• Helps with documentation of children
• Helps with keeping accurate attendance numbers at all times, including signing children in / out in attendance binder and on tablet
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where the children are involved
• Ability to lift children up to 45lbs
• Have worked in a licensed facility for at least 6 months or more

Educational Qualifications

All candidates, who wish to be considered for the position of Assistant Teacher, must have at least a high school diploma, GED, or a degree in Education.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CHILD CARE FACILITY OR SCHOOL SETTING
