Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable journey filled with laughter, learning, and boundless creativity? Look no further! The Goddard School in Independence is looking for Teachers to join our vibrant daycare and private preschool! We are seeking passionate, energetic, and dedicated Full-Time Teachers to inspire and nurture the minds of our little explorers. All candidates must be able to work until 6pm, Monday - Friday.

Position Overview:

As a Full-Time Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the hearts and minds of our young learners. You'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity, spark imaginations, and create memorable learning experiences that inspire curiosity and wonder.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
  • Organize and participate in exciting extracurricular activities, field trips, and special events that enrich the learning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work until 6pm, Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CDA, Associates degree in Early Childhood or related field, Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting (preferred).
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a sense of adventure!
