Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed
- Monitor and record vital signs as required
- Respect and uphold the rights of clients at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience in meal preparation and medication administration preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic caregiving techniques
- Familiarity with home care practices and resident rights
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting and driving if necessary
- Understanding of memory care principles for clients with cognitive impairments
